I used this for an entirely different purpose than indicated, but the ankle patch was on sale!
I used this for elbow joint pain from my olecranon bursitis.
In fact, I have the patch on now. It has worked surprisingly well, which is... well... a surprise. I only ordered this on a whim after doing a little research into PEMF technology.
Just something extra, given that my Ibuprofen wasn't working well, and was upsetting my stomach.
My arm is pain free after 3 days (used twice a day for 4 hours a time).
The packaging is nice, comes with a neoprene fitted sleeve, an ace wrap, and the PEMF pad.
I'd recommend to anyone seeking relief from pain.

(More customer reviews)My 10 year old daughter is very active in sports and a few months ago injured her heel and all of the tendons associated with the heel. She started out using just the heel cups that the Podiatrist gave her for her tennis shoes. Just the heel cup alone doesn't work with flip-flops or Crocs, so I ordered this product. It works like a charm! She is happy wearing it and says that it doesn't irritate her foot. I ordered 3 of them just so I'd have a spare to put in her gym bag. I have actually put them on and worn them around the house in the evenings after working all day and I will say that they feel GREAT!
I would reccommend these for any age and the one size fits all is perfect for even a very large foot. The velcro straps can be trimmed for a smaller foot. This product has been especially helpful for my child.

(More customer reviews)I purchased a set of these Tulis heel cups a few months ago. They are really comfortable and help with my plantar fasciitis. I love it so much that I purchased 2 more sets. It's convenient that they are washable and they come in the regular and heavy duty. I purchased the heavy duty ones for my tennis shoes and they seem to work great. The regular ones fit great in my dress shoes and they don't slip around when I walk. I highly recommend these!

An orthopedist once recommended to me that I should only recommend "waffle" heel lifts. Since I bought these for her, she has not complained of any heel pain. (More customer reviews)I wasnt going to leave a review but then I saw the 1 bad review a lady left on the medium sized one. I have a heel spur right under the achilles heel, not on the bottom of my foot. I have tried everything known to man (except surgery) to try to help this. This brace is the only thing that works. My spur is still there, but I do not hurt NEARLY as bad after playing football. Also, it works great for playing basketball too. I have tried other braces and then one works the best by far. My only suggestion is to buy two. I'm about to, just waiting to find something else to get for the free shipping. It comes with another gel pad without the brace. But its a pain to keep it in place if you play sports that require you to stop and go. I tear up all my socks and it ends up moving all around. So Im going to buy another one for my other foot, just cause they feel so good.
This also isnt a real great brace. Which is why I really like it. It allows normal movement but helps with my pain better than the old brace I had that was alot stiffer and more expensive. I noticed after running on the old one that my calf wasnt really being used much when running. Well one day I couldnt find it and went jogging without it. My right calf was SO sore from not using that muscle, since I had that ankle braced every other time I ran. It was terrible. I now run faster since Ive starting using this brace and my calf actually has a muscle there again.
If you play sports, or just like running...this brace is awesome. Give it a shot..it only $16.. you'll be glad you did.

(More customer reviews)I run in 50K races and train by running 30-40 miles per week. I weigh 200 pounds, so my feet need a lot of protection. I do not use the heel cups in my running shoes, but rather in my street shoes and hiking boots. Before using the Tuli's I would develop heel pain after 2 miles of walking. Since using the Tuli's that is a distant memory. I purchased my first pair 12 years ago. They never wore out, but I finally replaced them due to their age.
If you get heel pain for normal walking, I highly recommend these. When you take your shoes off, take the heel cups out to allow the shoe to dry properly.

Many years ago, I read in Soccer America of a USA team player who overcame heel bruise problems by using "Tuli heel cups." I filed that fact away in the back of my mind, never thinking it might come to benefit me one day. Flash forward to two years ago when plantar fasciitis (a fancy way of saying debilitating heel bruise) hit me in BOTH heels. My exercise dropped; my weight ballooned. A few months ago, the name "Tuli" magically returned in my mind. I Googled and found that the company is still in existence and still making heel cups. The rest is history. The very first day, with Tuli heel cups inserted inside my socks (and shoes), I hit the treadmill with remarkably little discomfort. I have a vigorous 40-minute walk every day -- on the treadmill and on concrete -- and feel the plantar fasciitis slowly diminishing. The best part is that I CAN walk without discomfort. (More customer reviews)I am a runner (15-30 miles a week depending on my schedule) and developed serious heel pain. I purchased this product to use in my sneakers and felt almost instant relief.
For my shoes the fit was too tight, so I bought Dr. Scholls full length inserts (which I didn't like for running). I also bought on Amazon the ProStretch to stretch my calf muscles to prevent the heel pain from flaring up.
I gave this only 4 stars because I did not compare it with less expensive alternatives, and also because unless you do stretching exercises (for which you don't need any equipment, though for me the ProStretch makes it easier) the heel pain will recur, though perhaps not with the same severity.
Bottom line: using this product in conjunction with stretching exercises has enabled me to run pain free.
Update 2/11/09: I used these for three months, and then stopped when I bought a new pair of sneakers. So far I have not had to use them again. In conjunction with my stretching, I corrected whatever was causing me the heel pain.
