(More customer reviews)At the time I ordered my first set of these, I'd been suffering from painful plantar fasciitis symptoms for some time and had already tried a variety of solutions to no avail. I had read that that shoe inserts like this might not help the problem, so they weren't my first option. But finally, I went with my intuition and decided to give them a try despite the conflicting information I'd been seeing online.
My feet started feeling better within a month or two. And here I am, three years later, ordering another pair. Just to be clear, that first set lasted me three years.

(More customer reviews)I purchased a set of these Tulis heel cups a few months ago. They are really comfortable and help with my plantar fasciitis. I love it so much that I purchased 2 more sets. It's convenient that they are washable and they come in the regular and heavy duty. I purchased the heavy duty ones for my tennis shoes and they seem to work great. The regular ones fit great in my dress shoes and they don't slip around when I walk. I highly recommend these!

(More customer reviews)I run in 50K races and train by running 30-40 miles per week. I weigh 200 pounds, so my feet need a lot of protection. I do not use the heel cups in my running shoes, but rather in my street shoes and hiking boots. Before using the Tuli's I would develop heel pain after 2 miles of walking. Since using the Tuli's that is a distant memory. I purchased my first pair 12 years ago. They never wore out, but I finally replaced them due to their age.
If you get heel pain for normal walking, I highly recommend these. When you take your shoes off, take the heel cups out to allow the shoe to dry properly.

Many years ago, I read in Soccer America of a USA team player who overcame heel bruise problems by using "Tuli heel cups." I filed that fact away in the back of my mind, never thinking it might come to benefit me one day. Flash forward to two years ago when plantar fasciitis (a fancy way of saying debilitating heel bruise) hit me in BOTH heels. My exercise dropped; my weight ballooned. A few months ago, the name "Tuli" magically returned in my mind. I Googled and found that the company is still in existence and still making heel cups. The rest is history. The very first day, with Tuli heel cups inserted inside my socks (and shoes), I hit the treadmill with remarkably little discomfort. I have a vigorous 40-minute walk every day -- on the treadmill and on concrete -- and feel the plantar fasciitis slowly diminishing. The best part is that I CAN walk without discomfort. The heel cups really work!

Won't stay put long enough to get your foot into the shoe. Don't offer much cushioning or stability. The material also collects dirt and sand and it becomes embedded in them.
