(More customer reviews)I own a pair of Rockports and thought i can put in just some heel cushions to make it even more comfy. Big mistake! After like 2 hrs of walking the arch on my foot and ball of my foot started to hurt and ache. Walking became like a tedious chore and i wasn`t sure what was the problem until i removed them. I found out that the rockports where designed with some support for your foot originally in the shoe design, and raising the heel was a bad idea. Doing so left no support at all for your arch. So be careful when using these or any heel inserts that causes your heel to lift. if you have a higher quality shoe and want more cushion opt for the entire footbed (even the cheaper flat gel footbeds work great). that way it won`t just raise your heel but the entire foot is cushioned the evenly.

These work really well, but the only way I can get them to stay in place is if I use duck/duct tape to keep them in place. When they stay in place they work really well, but not staying in place on their own is really irritating to deal with.

Unlike Superfeet this is a real cushion built into a firm mold. It has a lot of cushion. The only downside is this thing is very thick and has no air holes- so it can be a lot of trouble getting in dress shoes and tends to make your feet feel hot by leaving little space for airflow and a lot of hot manmade materials which trap air.
Otherwise this thing is quite comfortable.

I went to the dr. and got the usual round of muscle relaxers and pain pills which were helping a lot but every time I would have to do some yard work it would hurt again. I saw a commercial for these and thought I'd try them. I can't believe the difference it makes. Less than a week after the original injury I could mow my yard without any pain at all. I have tested it by doing things with and without them in my shoes and it is really working to emliminate the pain. I'm not an expert on back pain or remedies for it but these have really helped me.

(More customer reviews)These work if you have arch or heel pain that comes from standing long hours or from wearing footwear that does not correctly support and cushion the arch and heel.
I'm fiftysomething and am on my feet for 6-8 hours a day. Even though I was wearing good-quality work boots with decent arch support, my feet were painful. I had been trying other over-the-counter orthotics and foam pads designed for arch and heel pain, but my discomfort was getting worse regardless of what I tried.
A friend had been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis (inflammation of the ligament on the bottom of the foot that connects the heel bone to the toes). She told me this product helped her a lot while she was healing. She slipped one out of her shoe to show me. The insert is thin and light, so it doesn't look like much, but I thought it was worth a try, given her glowing recommendation. She was right.
The tri-comfort inserts are fairly thin and don't extend all the way to the toes, so they don't take up a lot of room in your shoes. The springy plastic support under the arch doesn't add a lot of bulk, but it effectively supports the ligaments. These inserts are not suitable for sandals or open-back dress shoes, because the heel cup shows a little around the edges of your heels. The front edge of the insert can rub the ball of your bare foot a bit as you walk, but socks (even thin ones) solve that problem for me. I have washed the inserts in the washing machine with good results. Use your regular cycle, warm or cold water, not hot, air dry.
(On a related note, I really dislike the gel insoles that Dr. Scholl's and others sell for heel pain. They are "squirmy" feeling underfoot, smell odd, take up too much space in my shoes, and don't have a firm heel cup.)
If you try the tri-comfort inserts and find they work for you, remember to replace the inserts when your foot pain returns. If replacing the insert does not work like it should, it's time to replace your foot wear too. The pain is telling you the cushioning and support your feet need is gone, even if your shoes or inserts still look fine.

(More customer reviews)Ive worn the "work" and "sport" insoles by Dr. Scholl and I have to say that these are probably the most comfortable. The work ones have always caused me pain because the heel area was built awkwardly. I also have "runners knee" so these help me from overprotecting when I wear them for hours on end in my everyday shoes. I've never tried the insoles that range in the $50 area, but if these helped fix my runners knee, I wouldn't get those expensive ones unless I was recovering from a serious injury. The sport ones were great at first, but quickly wore out after only using them for a couple weeks. The only down side to these insoles is that the surface is a bit slippery. So I sometimes feel like my foots sliding around inside if my shoes aren't tight enough.
