(More customer reviews)I grew up watching Stampede Wrestling in the early 1980's and actually announced matches in BC & Saskatchewan for them in the mid to late 80's. The book is a good read, some pieces are a bit fudged, as are all bio books and there are some slanted parts that in my opinion, unfairly portray some people, That said, it's one of those personal things that would be Straight from the Hart (heart).
I know there was alot of turmoil during the times I was there as a magazine writer and actually to Hart's credit, I "borrowed' a few of his ideas and programs when I booked local shows.
Having read Bruce's book, Diana's book, Heath McCoy's book and Marsha Erb's book, I think it is a good addition to your Stampede Wrestling collection. I look forward to writing a book as well one day if I can sit still long enough as I enjoyed my tumble through many local indies!
