I obtained a copy of THE GOLF SECRET by the late H A Murray many years ago and was facinated by his ideas. As a consequence, I recently bought MORE GOLF SECRETS in the belief that it would enhance my understanding of the golf swing he advocated. This was not to be with the exception of his ideas on putting, a subject not included in his original book. It has it's merrits but conflicks somewhat with the ideas of my other favourite instruction authors, most notably Percy Boomer and John Jacobs. This is not a book I would recommend.

As a golf professional of more years experience than I care to remember, I have no hesitation in saying that Dr Murray's second golf book does indeed warrant the title 'More Golf Secrets.' The author has given the reader the benefit of his long experience of the game by approaching the subject in this book in the same analytical manner as he did the swing and golf fallcies in 'The Golf Secret.' I have never seen the grip and the stance so perfectly and completely described. Ball spin and its effects are fascinating and instructive. Putting, the stymie and the chip shot - the all-important "short game" - are admirably described with a view to rolling three shots into two. Shots from the rough, uneven lies and bunker shots are made to appear almost desirable for the pleasure they give, and the mathematics of them are intriguing and convincing. Wind and rain no longer seem to matter. The skillful analyses of the various golf factors provide much information that is entirely new. This book is a must for every golfer-duffer or pro.Algy Easterbrook, Golf Professional
